Day 01 | Airport - Colombo - City Tour

Colombo like many capital cities in developing countries is fast changing its face. Almost overnight, skyscrapers arise from where old buildings once stood. Yet in some arts, the old world charm is retained. For example, there is a 100-year-old clock tower and several British built colonial buildings. Other places of interest are the Pettah bazaar - where one can shop for bargain, a Hindu and a Buddhist temple, residential areas where you find the stately homes of the affluent, the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH)- an outright gift to Sri Lanka from the People's Republic of China. Day 02 | Colombo - Digana

  • Checkout after breakfast and leave at 8am to Royal Colombo Golf Club for a game of Golf (18 holes)
The history of the RCGC dates back to 1879 to the establishment of the game of golf in Sri Lanka, and over a century of sport and sporting traditions, customs, manners and styles of the British in Ceylon. A fragment of it is to be seen in the founding of the Colombo Golf Club and its life thereafter as the Royal Colombo Golf Club. In 1928, His Majesty King George V, bestowed upon the Club the privilege of using the prefix “Royal”, and consequently the Colombo Golf Club came to be known as the Royal Colombo Golf Club. This course is the second oldest Royal Golf Club outsidethe United Kingdom

Day 03 | Digana - Kandy - City Tour - Digana

  • After an early breakfast, leave at 7 am for a game of Golf (18 holes).

Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan Kings and is a World Heritage Site. The name 'Kandy' conjures visions of splendor and magnificence. Many of the legends, traditions and folklore are still lovingly kept alive. Drive around the Kandy lake built by the last Sinhala king, Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe In 1798. Visit the Kandy town, the bazaar, an arts & crafts center and a gem museum lapidary.

Day 04 | Digana / Kandy / Peradeniya / Tea Plantation / Nuwara Eliya

  • Checkout after breakfast proceed to visit Peradeniya Botanical Gardens
This beautiful garden is located 4 miles off Kandy. It was first built as a pleasure Garden by a Sinhala king and was expanded by the British. It covers approximately 147 acres and is a walkers paradise with extensive well kept lawns, pavilions, an octagon conservatory, fernery, a giant Javan fig tree and numerous flower beds. The best attraction is the orchid house.
  • Proceed to Nuwara Eliya
Nuwara Eliya, because of its invigorating mountain climate and scenery, is Sri Lanka's most popular hill resort. Nuwara Eliya is also the heart of Sri Lanka's tea country producing a significant share of the world's best tea. Sri Lanka's highest mountain Pidurutalagala (8282 feet) is located here. Nuwara Eliya also has one of the finest 18 hole golf courses in South Asia.

Day 05 | Nuwara Eliya

  • After an early breakfast, leave for a game of Golf at the Nuwara Eliya town 18 hole golf course
The Nuwara Eliya Golf Course is 117 years old. It is a private International Golf Course which is one of Asia’s finest golf courses; located at 6400 feet above sea level and with 18 holes of which 6 are close to water, has been a championship course for many years. With most of its ground located within the city center, but well hidden from the busy city, it’s got its own restaurant, and welcomes keen golfers from around the world. The Golf club was founded very early on in 1889 as the planters themselves needed some form of entertainment and lost no time in setting it up.

Day 07 | Nuwara Eliya - Negombo

  • Checkout after breakfast, proceed to Negombo
Negombo is a major city in Sri Lanka, located on the west coast of the island and at the mouth of the Negombo Lagoon, in Western Province, Sri Lanka. Negombo is the fourth largest city in the country after the capital Colombo, Kandy, and Jaffna, and it is the second largest City in Western province after Colombo. Negombo is also the administrative capital of Negombo Division. It is one of the major commercial hubs in Sri Lanka of about 128,000 inhabitants in the city limits, approximately 37 km north of Colombo city. Negombo is known for its huge and old fishing industry with busy fish markets, and nice sandy beaches. It is one of the most liberal city in Sri Lanka with modern life style and it's nightlife in luxury hotels, guest houses, finest restaurants and pubs.
